About This Role
Lead Captain at Jet Aviation flying the Citation Sovereign+ out of Peachtree City, GA (FFC). Serves as Pilot in Command for assigned private/business aviation flights, responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flight assignments, plus crew mentorship, leadership, and brand representation. Anticipated salary range $175,000 to $210,000.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions.
- Mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, coordinate schedules and training.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems, manage flight plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture, conduct passenger briefings, and address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical require.
- Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
- Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Set you apart, not required: College degree preferred.)
