About This Role
TSC (Technical Support Company) is seeking Second-in-Command (SIC) pilots for civil fisheries enforcement maritime surveillance missions across the Central and Western Pacific. Candidates will operate King Air 200/300 aircraft on extended overwater surveillance missions in both VMC and IMC conditions as part of a three-month rotational deployment. Minimum requirements include 750 total flight hours, 100 hours PIC time, 200 hours multi-engine, and valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with AMEL and Instrument Airplane ratings. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as SIC in King Air 200/300 aircraft on functional check flights, transit, and surveillance missions
  • Assist PIC in mission planning including flight route, weather, fuel planning, and flight plan filing
  • Monitor and cross-check aircraft systems and instruments during flight
  • Perform ATC and Oceanic radio communications during international transit and mission flights
  • Assist with normal and emergency procedures checklists
  • Inspect and test all aircraft emergency equipment for proper installation and operation
  • Assist with pre/post-flight duties and crew chief coordination
  • Conduct briefings with crew members on normal and emergency procedures
  • Assist with preparation of international travel documents and arrangements
  • Provide detailed and effective communication with crew and ground personnel
  • Actively participate with deployed team in aviation and non-aviation capacities
  • Assist PIC with all pertinent inflight duties

Requirements
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with AMEL and Instrument Airplane ratings (or equivalent CASA ratings)
  • Minimum 750 hours total documented flight time
  • Minimum 100 hours PIC time
  • Minimum 200 hours AMEL
  • Minimum 50 hours AMEL in last 6 months
  • Valid FAA Second-class Medical Certificate
  • Current US or Australian Passport
  • Minimum 23 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel with reasonable notice for periods up to three months
  • Good health and physical conditioning
  • Professional references required

  • Drug screening required
