Metrea is recruiting experienced KC-135 Pilots in Command and Second in Command for contract air-to-air refueling missions supporting U.S. and allied forces. Positions offer flexible deployments ranging from short-term rotations to extended 45-90 day deployments in India, with competitive daily rates and full logistics support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 400 hours in KC-135/C-135FR aircraft
- Minimum 1000 total flight hours
- US Air Force Instrument/Qualification
- KC/C-135 Aircraft Commander check-ride within last 12 months (cannot expire during deployment)
- KC/C-135R IP/EP experience preferred
- Fluent English (oral and written)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- iOS operating systems experience including iPads/EFB
- FAA Flying Class 2 Physical
- FCC Radiotelegraph Operators Permit
- Current ATP or Restricted ATP preferred
- Current MEI preferred
- CFII certificate preferred
- B-707 Type rating preferred
- Current US or French passport with 1 year validity minimum
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to deploy on short notice
- US citizen required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance
- Ability to fly aboard KC-135FR aircraft in India
- Maintain all currencies and qualifications related to KC/C-135 tanker fleet
- Command flight crew in emergency and non-emergency scenarios
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections per procedures
- Maintain situational awareness and crew resource management throughout all flight phases
- Adhere to company Flight Operation Procedures, Ground Operation Procedures, FAA regulations, and Safety Notices
