About This Role
CAE USA Inc is seeking an experienced KC-135 Pilot Instructor to provide comprehensive aircraft systems and operational procedures instruction at Altus, United States. This is a specialized aviation training role supporting military customers in maintaining mission readiness through simulator, classroom, and aircraft-based instruction. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree, eight years total flying experience (five years military), and at least two years of KC-135 Pilot instructor experience, along with completion of formal USAF Instructor training and DoD security clearance eligibility. As a U.S. citizen-only position supporting government contracts, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical defense and security operations while working with a global leader in simulation and training technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • Eight years total flying experience
  • Five years military flying experience
  • Minimum two years KC-135 Pilot flight instructor experience
  • Recent experience as KC-135 Instructor Pilot or Evaluator Pilot
  • Completion of formal USAF Instructor training course
  • Valid ATPL license
  • Ability to maintain instrument, take-off, landing, and emergency procedure proficiency
  • Ability to acquire and maintain emergency procedure proficiency
  • Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to participate in periodic aircraft familiarization flights
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Willingness to work any shift or day of the week
  • Strong facilitation and data analysis skills
  • ICAO English Level 4 or higher proficiency
  • Ability to stand and conduct instruction for up to six hours daily
  • Physically able to enter simulator and cockpit
