Jet Aviation Staffing is recruiting an experienced Captain to operate a Gulfstream G550 business jet based in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role the Captain takes full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leads a professional crew, and delivers an exceptional experience for discerning clientele across a variety of domestic and global routes, adapting quickly to changing conditions while upholding the highest standards of safety, service and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take command of all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions to guarantee a seamless travel experience.
- Perform the functions of the TSA Flight Security Coordinator under the applicable Twelve-Five Standard Security Program or Private Charter Standard Security Program, conduct the required passenger safety briefings or assign that duty to the second in command, actively support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures.

Requirements
- An Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a current FAA First Class Medical are required.
- Applicants must have 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as pilot-in-command, 1,500 hours multi-engine, 500 hours turbojet, 500 hours turbine, 100 hours night and 75 hours simulated instrument.
- Candidates must be able to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles and be willing to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
- A high school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are also required.
