About This Role
CAE Flight Simulator & Services Korea seeks an experienced Instructor Trainer to deliver and manage Instructor Development Training (IDT) programs aligned with global standards and regulatory requirements. The role supports Civil Global IDT delivery across multiple training domains, mentoring instructor development through demonstration and feedback. Candidates must hold or have held either an ICAO ATPL or CPL license, plus relevant FAA or EASA Part FCL instructor certificates. This position is ideal for multi-domain training professionals with 3+ years' experience in ATO, AOC, or global training organizations who are proficient with Microsoft Teams and modern digital learning methodologies.
Requirements
- Hold or have held an ICAO ATPL or CPL license
- Hold or have held FAA instructor certificate or Part FCL instructor certificate (EASA member state) or equivalent 900(c) qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience delivering or managing instructor training
- Experience in ATO, AOC, or global training organization
- Working knowledge of EASA Part FCL/ORA and FAA Parts 61/135/142
- Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
- Excellent cross-cultural and multilingual communication skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and online facilitation tools
- Extensive experience delivering instructor development programs (Teaching & Learning, CBTA, CRM, briefing/debriefing, Instructor Competencies)
- Expertise in adult learning principles and competency-based training & assessment (CBTA/EBT)
- Strong online training delivery skills
- Experience developing instructor-facing courseware (lesson plans, presentations, assessment tools)
- Ability to oversee courseware lifecycle management
- Experience mentoring and developing instructors, tutors, coaches, or assessors
- Familiarity with global instructor onboarding pathways (Part 1, CBTA, CRM, IPPM/DOI, training sequencing)
- Ability to conduct instructor observations, evaluations, and feedback using competency frameworks
- Strong analytical capability to interpret OKRs, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
