Amentum is seeking an Instructor Pilot (TH-1H) at Fort Rucker, Alabama to provide flight instruction in the TH-1H Huey II helicopter. Requires previous USAF helicopter instructor pilot qualification with 1,000 hours total DOD military helicopter time and 200 hours instructor time. Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate required.
Requirements
- Previously qualified as a U.S. Air Force helicopter instructor pilot
- CV-22 pilots who attended SUPT-H or UHT qualify
- Current in U.S. DOD military aircraft within the previous 4 years or within 6 years if 11+ years of DOD military operational flying duty
- Minimum 1,000 hours of total DOD military helicopter time
- Minimum 200 hours of DOD military helicopter instructor time
- Working knowledge of all USAF flight regulations
- Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate prior to beginning PIT training
- Must not exceed 250 pounds in flight duty uniform
- Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States with proof of authorization
- Subject to Government approval and 12-month Employee Training Agreement
- Must pass and maintain U.S. Government background security check
- Must complete training and government acceptance checkride
- Security clearance required
- Must be free from marijuana usage 90 days prior to security clearance application (SF-86)
- Must be free from all other illegal drugs for at least 12 months prior to SF-86
