About This Role
Boeing Defence UK seeks an experienced Pilot Instructor to deliver P-8A simulator and ground training at RAF Lossiemouth. This is a defense aviation training role supporting military pilot customer training programs. The ideal candidate will be a multi-engine fixed-wing pilot with large aircraft and multi-crew experience, preferably ex-military with B737 type rating and instructor credentials. Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver P-8A simulator and ground training in accordance with company standards and MAA regulatory guidelines
- Develop and conduct simulator and ground school pilot instruction
- Develop training tools and techniques to support customer requirements
- Apply instructor-led training and computer-based training methodologies
- Coordinate training and apply standardized teaching techniques
- Conduct demonstrations as required
- Evaluate and examine student competence in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and correct conditions and behaviors affecting safety
- Uphold safety standards and demonstrate proactive safety culture leadership

Requirements
- Multi-engine fixed-wing pilot with large aircraft experience
- Preferably ex-military background
- B737 Type Rated Instructor (TRI) or Simulator Flight Instructor (SFI)
- Successfully completed Aircrew Instructors' Course (AIC) or civilian equivalent
- Prior P-8A experience highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple skill areas and cultures
- IT proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to collect, organize and analyze data
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
- Must not require visa sponsorship (must have right to work in UK)
- Multi-crew experience required
