Ascent Flight Training seeks an Instructor Pilot to fly King Air sorties supporting UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS) rear crew instruction. Requires minimum 500 hours PIC, CPL with IR and ME ratings, and UK Security Check clearance. Full-time permanent role with Monday-Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 500 hours PIC time
- Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) with minimum 500 hours as 1st pilot
- Instrument Rating (IR)
- Multi-Engine (ME) rating
- UK CAA accepted licenses
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
- Proven medical fitness and commitment to maintaining flying currency
- Strong safety mindset and integrity in reporting and decision making
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence using digital tools and systems
- Qualified Military Multi-Engine Pilot or equivalent experience
- Green Instrument Rating and Single Pilot operational fitness (preferred)
- Familiarity with UKMFTS structure and rear crew training syllabi (preferred)
- Understanding of military ethos and training standards (preferred)
- Minimum BPSS security clearance level required
- 5 years continuous UK residency typically required for SC clearance
