About This Role
Apogee Engineering is seeking an experienced Instructor Pilot for the B747 aircraft to support government/defense operations based in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a permanent position requiring an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Candidates must have a minimum of 10+ years total flight/aircrew experience including 4 years as a qualified pilot on the E-4B with Instructor qualification, a valid CPL with IR and ME ratings, and a B747 type rating. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level, complete formal Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) training, and hold a Bachelor's degree with a valid U.S. driver's license.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct flight instruction and training on the B747 aircraft
- Provide instruction to E-4B crew members
- Support government/defense aerospace operations
Requirements
- B747 type rating required
- Valid CPL, IR, and ME licenses
- Minimum 10 or more years total flight/aircrew experience
- Minimum 4 years as a qualified pilot on the E-4B with Instructor qualification (AFSC: K12R3B)
- Qualified E-4B crew member (AFSC: K113B)
- Active TS-SCI level security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security clearance at Secret level
- U.S. citizenship required
- Class 2 Medical Certificate
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Bachelor's Degree
- Completion of formal Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) course prior to or within six months after start of training
- Completion of Air Combat Command Classroom Instructor Course or MAJCOM equivalent
- FAA license accepted
- Travel up to 25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations may be required
