About This Role
Republic Airways is seeking an Inflight Instructor to facilitate approved flight attendant training programs in Carmel, Indiana. This role involves developing and delivering curriculum, conducting exams, and coaching flight attendants to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards. Candidates must have at least 1 year of aviation and/or education/training experience, high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. The position requires travel up to 25% of the time and involves close collaboration with FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD audit processes. Successful candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and pass FAA background and drug screening requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of aviation and/or education or training experience
- Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- No visible tattoos while in uniform
- No multiple visible piercings while in uniform
- Able to pass FAA 10 year work history review
- Pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
- Possess and maintain valid US passport or foreign passport
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to travel in and out of the United States
- Willing to submit to FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
- Able to reach and operate emergency equipment up to 70 pounds
- Able to lift objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Able to push and pull carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods with aircraft turbulence
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- Vision 20/20 or better with corrective lenses
- Able to hear clearly verbal communications with ambient aircraft noise
- Able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness without modifications
- Able to move freely and effectively in confined aircraft environment
- Polished and professional interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with customer-oriented mindset
- Able to handle interruptions and fast-paced environment
- Willing to work varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
