About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Hawker 900XP Captain for South Florida. The position is responsible for safely and expertly meeting clients' travel needs while maintaining Solairus Aviation's culture of safety, service, and integrity. The successful candidate must meet the stated flight-time and qualification requirements, be available for on-call work, complete annual ICAO International procedures training, and maintain a primary residence within South Florida.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Hawker 900XP and for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties include reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status
- performing a complete pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- checking weather and facilities along the planned route and at the departure, destination, and alternate airports
- conducting flights in compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements
- Required qualifications include 3,000 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours MEL, 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in turbojet aircraft, and 250 instrument hours.
- The applicant must be type rated on the Hawker 900XP or a comparable aircraft and must hold a first-class medical.
- The role requires availability to work on an on-call basis, annual completion of ICAO International procedures training, and a primary residence within South Florida.
