About This Role
Talon Air is recruiting a full-time Gulfstream GV Captain for an international position involving worldwide Part 91 owner flights and Part 135 charter operations. The company operates more than 40 aircraft and has been operating for over 25 years. Most company pilots are home-based and travel by airline to and from the aircraft for each rotation. The position offers a consistent 12/8 schedule, benefits, and opportunities for fleet mobility, check airman assignments and other leadership roles. A GV type rating is preferred, but other highly qualified Captains with large-cabin international experience will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct safe and efficient domestic and international flight operations under 14 CFR Parts 91 and 135 while maintaining high customer-service standards.
- Maintain effective crew coordination and perform duties professionally, efficiently and cordially.
- Deliver an exceptional experience for the aircraft owner and passengers while representing Talon Air professionally.
- Greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage storage, conduct passenger briefings, and respond to passenger requests and needs.
- Follow all duties and responsibilities in company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current First Class Medical certificate in accordance with company policy and notify the company of any physical or mental medical condition that may impair flight duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Offer

Requirements
- Applicants must hold an ATP, an FAA First Class Medical and a valid passport, with at least 3,500 hours total time, 1,000 hours multi-engine time and 750 hours PIC time. Large-cabin experience, international operational experience and Part 135 experience are preferred. A GV type rating is preferred rather than mandatory
- other highly qualified Captains with large-cabin international experience will be considered. Candidates must work effectively in a team, have working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Parts 91 and 135, and possess thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO and international flight operations regulations. Strong organizational skills, advanced multitasking abilities, and strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills are required, along with computer skills for word processing, iPads, email and web/mobile applications.
