About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Captain for an operation based at KBCT in Boca Raton, Florida. The Captain will be responsible for the safe, prudent and compliant operation of the aircraft, passenger and crew safety, adherence to Solairus policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, accurate trip documentation, and thorough preparation for each flight. The role requires substantial total, PIC, multi-engine and turbojet experience, a Gulfstream G650ER or comparable type rating, a first-class medical, annual ICAO international procedures training, on-call availability, and residence within a two-hour drive of KBCT or a willingness to relocate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the Gulfstream G650ER safely and responsibly.
- Review the aircraft's maintenance status before flight and conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Complete a thorough check of weather and facilities along the planned route and at all airports to be used, including alternate airports.
- Conduct each flight in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, the aircraft and the crew.
- Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements
- The listed qualifications are 3,000 hours total time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours MEL (multi-engine land), 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours in turbojet aircraft, and 250 instrument hours.
- The pilot must be type rated on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft and must hold a first-class medical.
- The position requires on-call availability and completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
- The primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KBCT, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
