About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650ER Captain for an operation based at KBED in Bedford, Massachusetts. The role is focused on safe, professional and service-oriented flight operations that meet client travel needs while maintaining Solairus standards for safety, service and integrity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status
- completing the proper pre-flight inspection under the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- checking weather, facilities, route information, destination and alternate airports
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours of total flight time, 1,500 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of MEL time, 500 hours of MEL PIC time, 500 hours of turbojet time and 250 hours of instrument time.
- The position requires a type rating on the Gulfstream G650ER or a comparable aircraft, a first-class medical, availability to work on an on-call basis, and annual completion of ICAO international procedures training.
- The pilot must live within a two-hour drive of KBED or be willing to relocate.
