Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain for an operation at KAFW airport. Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 and for conducting flights safely and prudently under Solairus Aviation policies, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and established procedures. Duties include reviewing aircraft maintenance status
- conducting the approved Aircraft Flight Manual pre-flight inspection
- checking weather, facilities, route conditions, destination and alternate airports
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork.
Requirements
- The posting requires 3,000 hours of total time, 1,500 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of MEL time, 500 hours of MEL PIC time, 500 hours in a turbojet, and 250 hours of instrument time.
- Applicants must be type rated on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft and hold a first-class medical.
- The Captain must be able to work on an on-call basis, complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAFW or be willing to relocate.
