About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G450 Captain for an operation at KCMA airport in Camarillo, California. The captain will support the safe and professional transportation of clients while maintaining Solairus Aviation's standards of safety, service, integrity, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G450 and for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties include reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status
- performing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- checking weather, facilities, route conditions, destination airports, and alternate airports
- operating in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.
Requirements
- Required experience includes 3,000 hours of total time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours MEL, 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours of turbojet time, and 250 hours of instrument time.
- The applicant must be type rated on the Gulfstream G450 or a comparable aircraft and hold a first-class medical.
- The role requires on-call availability, annual completion of ICAO International procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KCMA or willingness to relocate.
