About This Role
Aviation Advisor is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G280 Captain based at Kenosha, Wisconsin, with consideration for candidates who relocate within the required commuting range. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Captain has ultimate authority for the safe execution of flights operated under FAR Part 91 and Part 135, while representing the company professionally to passengers and ensuring efficient, compliant, and safety-focused operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream G280, the Captain is responsible for the safe and compliant operation of the aircraft and must follow applicable federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, company policies, the operations manual, schedules, operational directives, and standard operating procedures. Duties include conducting preflight inspections
- reviewing weather for departure points, destinations, en-route areas, and alternates
- preparing or reviewing flight plans
- confirming that the aircraft is maintained and properly provisioned for passenger safety and comfort
- calculating and reviewing weight and balance, fuel burn, and aircraft performance
- and using company checklists. The Captain supervises the First Officer, coordinates all assigned crewmembers, and remains available to crew and departmental personnel through company communication channels during duty hours. The Captain makes operational decisions concerning flight initiation, delays, cancellations, and route deviations based on conditions, works nonstandard schedules including weekends and holidays, and demonstrates strong customer service, attention to detail, adaptability, and follow-through.

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Multi-Engine Land Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL) or have an ATP written qualification, along with a current First Class medical certificate. The role requires proficiency in radiotelephony communications, the ability to pass drug testing and TSA background screening, and the ability to obtain the required ID badge and ramp-driving privileges. Candidates must have a valid passport and driver's license and reside within a two-hour personal commute of the listed base, although relocation will be considered. Minimum pilot experience is 3,000 total flight hours, 1,500 PIC hours, and 200 hours of multi-engine time. A high school diploma is required
- a bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must also be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
