About This Role
Solairus Aviation seeks an experienced Client Aviation Manager to lead flight operations at Long Beach Airport. This management role combines flight operations expertise with leadership responsibilities, overseeing personnel, maintenance coordination, scheduling, and client relations for a Gulfstream G280 flight department. Candidates need 3000 total flight hours (1500 PIC), 1500 hours multi-engine time, 500 hours turbojet experience, and G280 type rating, plus demonstrated management expertise and NBAA CAM certification (preferred). The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually based on experience and qualifications, requiring relocation within 2 hours of Long Beach.
Requirements
- Minimum 3000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1500 hours PIC
- Minimum 1500 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC
- Minimum 500 hours turbojet time
- Minimum 250 hours instrument time
- Valid ATPL license
- First Class Medical Certificate required
- G280 type rating
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and management background
- NBAA CAM certification or other applicable leadership training (preferred)
- College degree and/or advanced non-flight training
- Experience in multiple facets of training for flight operations personnel
- Budget development and management experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Track record of implementing industry best practices in flight operations
- Able to work on an on-call basis
- Able to complete ICAO International procedures training annually
- Located or willing to relocate within 2 hours of Long Beach Airport (KLGB)
