About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G200 Captain for an operation at KAPA airport in the Denver-area community of Englewood, Colorado. The role focuses on the safe, prudent and compliant operation of the aircraft while supporting the travel needs of clients and maintaining Solairus Aviation's standards of safety, service and integrity. The posting states that Solairus crewmembers are paid $50,000 to $500,000, with the range varying according to geographic area, experience, aircraft and equipment, duties, training and assigned account.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Gulfstream G200 and for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties include reviewing the aircraft's maintenance status
- completing a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- checking weather and facilities along the planned route and at the airports to be used, including alternate airports
- conducting flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours of total flight time, including 1,500 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of MEL time, 500 hours of MEL PIC time, 500 hours of turbojet time and 250 hours of instrument time.
- The position requires a type rating on the Gulfstream G200 or a comparable aircraft and a first-class medical certificate.
- The Captain must be able to work on an on-call basis, complete ICAO International procedures training annually, and either maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAPA or be willing to relocate.
