About This Role
Envoy Air, a regional airline operating as part of the American Airlines network, is seeking a Ground School Instructor for their Flight Operations team based in Irving, TX. This is an instructor position responsible for conducting initial and recurrent pilot ground training on aircraft systems, operations, and emergency procedures. The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of large aircraft systems, airline flight operations, and preferably previous line flying experience or instructional background. Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Working knowledge and experience on large aircraft systems and airline flight operations
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Previous line experience as a flight crew-member (preferred)
- Previous instructional and/or training experience (preferred)
- College coursework or college degree (desirable/preferred)
- Proven work experience building constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers (preferred)
