About This Role
CAE Flight Services Austria seeks an experienced Ground School Instructor to join their newly opened Business Aviation Training Centre in Vienna, part of CAE's global training network. The facility features state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators for business jets including the G550, Global 7500, and Global 6000. The instructor will deliver classroom-based ground training for initial and recurrent pilot courses, mentor aviation professionals, and maintain accurate training records. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge aircraft technology and business aviation clients in Central Europe, with the ability to work close to home.
Requirements
- CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) experience preferred but not required
- Previous instructional experience in aviation
- High-performance aircraft experience
- Advanced English language proficiency (must read, speak, and converse fluently)
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based programs)
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
- Full-time permanent commitment
- Ability to commute to Vienna Schwechat Training Centre
- Right to live and work in Austria is desirable
- Willingness to travel outside Austria for initial type rating training
- Mentoring and instructional skills
- Customer focus and ability to create productive training environment
