Requirements
- Four-year technical degree or equivalent professional aviation experience
- Six or more years progressively complex aviation experience
- Experience as instructor pilot in formal training program
- For Launch and Recovery instruction: 500 hours PIC with UAV instructor or multiple UAV aircraft qualification
- For Launch and Recovery instruction: 1500 UAV hours
- For Launch and Recovery instruction: Multiple aircraft UAV Pilot Evaluator qualification
- For MCE only instructors: 3000 hours flight experience in manned aircraft or UAV
- For MCE only instructors: 1000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- Current UAV instructor or evaluator or multiple UAV aircraft qualification
- FAA Commercial Certificate with current instrument rating
- Strong aviation background and understanding of technical principles
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of computer applications pertinent to the position
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Preferred: Current and qualified MQ-9 experience
- Preferred: MQ-9 Launch and Recovery Instructor Pilot experience
- Preferred: Previous instructor qualifications in air-to-ground role aircraft
