About This Role
VistaJet is seeking an experienced Global Series Simulator Instructor for their Vista America operations in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves delivering high-quality pilot training programs with emphasis on simulator instruction, ground school delivery, and maintaining operational proficiency through active Global 7500/8000 line flying. Candidates must hold an ATP certificate with a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours and a Bombardier Global type rating, with previous simulator instruction and training delivery experience strongly preferred. Requirements
- ATP Certificate required
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
- Valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Bombardier Global G7500 or BBD700 Type Rating required
- Previous simulator instructor experience strongly preferred
- Minimum 12 months training delivery experience preferred
- Previous ground school instruction experience preferred
- Previous instructional or checking qualifications preferred (CFII, MEI, Check Pilot, TCE, IP, TRI, TRE, or equivalent)
- Part 135 and international operational experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, SOP compliance, CRM, competency-based training, EBT, and operational risk management
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and instructional skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Unrestricted domestic and international travel capability
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last five years
- Meets the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 for international commercial air transport operations
- Successful completion of Vista America Instructor and Check Pilot Training Programs required
- Relocation to Columbus, Ohio preferred
