About This Role
Boeing Mexico seeks an experienced Global Engagement Pilot based in Mexico City to work with industry stakeholders, regulators, and customers worldwide on flight operations safety and Boeing product optimization. This high-visibility role with the Pilot Services Team involves customer engagement, pilot instruction, standardization activities, and occasional pilot-in-command operations on various Boeing aircraft. The ideal candidate brings 5,000+ hours of transport category flight time, 1,000+ hours as a flight instructor, and current ATP/ATPL certification with First Class Medical. The position offers visa sponsorship, relocation assistance, a hybrid work arrangement with 50% travel, and the opportunity to impact aviation safety on a global scale.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and industry bodies
  • Acquire resources for projects and provide technical management of suppliers
  • Lead process improvements and implement policies and procedures
  • Develop and conduct familiarization, qualification, standardization, and flight instruction
  • Demonstrate highest standards of crew resource management in aircraft operations
  • Manage, mentor, develop, and evaluate pilots performing aircrew duties
  • Operate Boeing and customer aircraft as Pilot in Command and Instructor
  • Deploy to customers in instructor capacity as needed
  • Interact with pilots, managers, regulators, executives, and subject matter experts

Requirements
  • Must be legally able to work in Mexico
  • Current FAA ATP or EASA ATPL or international equivalent
  • Current FAA or EASA First Class Medical Certificate or international equivalent
  • Minimum 5000 hours total flight time in public transport category aircraft
  • Minimum 1000 hours of flight instructor time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
  • Current B737, B787, or B777 type rating (preferred)
  • Experience as FAA Part 121 Airline Instructor Pilot and/or Line Check Airman (preferred)
  • International and transoceanic flight experience (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a passport for domestic and international travel (preferred)
