About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Captain to operate Bombardier Global 5000 and Global 7500 aircraft on an account based at Hillsboro airport (KHIO), Oregon. Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe operation of the Global 5000 and Global 7500 aircraft, conducting flights safely and prudently. Duties include reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft
- conducting a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual
- completing a full check of weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternates
- ensuring flights are conducted in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- ensuring the safety of all passengers, aircraft and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
Requirements
- Required flight experience: 3,000 hours total time
- 1,500 hours PIC
- 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL)
- 500 hours MEL PIC
- 500 hours in turbojet
- 250 hours instrument. Must be type rated on the Global 5000 and/or Global 7500, or on a comparable aircraft. First class medical required. Must be able to work on an on-call basis and to complete ICAO International procedures training annually. Primary residence must be within a 4-hour drive from KHIO, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.
