About This Role
Solairus Aviation seeks an experienced Full-Time Flight Attendant for a commutable position based in Southern California. This business aviation role requires 5+ years of corporate flight attendant experience with strong culinary skills and passion for gourmet food service. Candidates must be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of managing demanding schedules including standby availability with 2-3 hour response times. The position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000-$500,000 annually depending on experience, aircraft type, and assigned account, with opportunities to work on luxury corporate jets including the Global 7500.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- First Aid Training Certification (including CPR and AED)
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar (preferred; annual recurrent training required)
- Culinary skills and culinary-specific training required
- Advanced culinary training strongly preferred
- Vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses
- Uncorrected vision no worse than 20/50
- Able to speak clearly with adequate hearing for communication
- Able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited ability to sit
- Able to kneel, stoop, and maneuver in tight spaces within aircraft
- Able to push open/pull closed main cabin door (weighing up to 130 pounds)
- Able to lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly
- Technologically savvy and proficient with cabin management systems
- Flexibility and patience required
- Available to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response if on standby)
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide
- Able to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days
- Manage constantly changing schedule and late night flights
- College degree preferred
- One or more foreign languages fluently preferred
- Experience with small children preferred
