About This Role
CAE is seeking an experienced Global 6500 Instructor Pilot to deliver world-class flight simulator and ground school training at their Lake Nona, Florida facility. This role involves leading clients through CAE-approved curricula, conducting pre- and post-flight briefings, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining exceptional customer service. Candidates must hold an unrestricted ATP certificate with one unrestricted PIC type rating and a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, with 2-5 years of relevant training or teaching experience preferred. Requirements
- High school diploma or state-issued equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 3,000+ hours total flight time
- 2–5 years of job-relevant experience
- Unrestricted ATP certificate
- One unrestricted PIC type rating
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States
- Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written)
- ICAO English Level 4 or higher
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
- Ability to participate in CAE's DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Clean criminal record
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- Experience on Global 6500 or other relevant business aircraft preferred
- Existing instructor qualification or type rating preferred
