About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain for an operation based at KFXE in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Captain will safely operate the aircraft and meet clients’ travel needs while upholding the company’s standards of safety, service, and integrity. The role calls for a collaborative colleague committed to excellent performance, availability for on-call work, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KFXE or willingness to relocate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate the Global 6000 safely and prudently, ensuring the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
- Review the aircraft’s maintenance status and perform a proper preflight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Complete a thorough review of weather and facilities along the planned route and at destination and alternate airports.
- Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Accurately complete all trip paperwork using current procedures and work with the team to meet clients’ travel needs safely and professionally.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours multi-engine land time, 500 hours multi-engine land PIC, 500 hours turbojet time, and 250 hours instrument time.
- A type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft and a first-class medical are required.
- Candidates must be able to work on call and complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
- Their primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KFXE, or they must be willing to relocate.
