About This Role
Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Global 6000 Captain for an operation based at KFXE in the Fort Lauderdale area. The Captain will operate the aircraft safely and prudently while delivering reliable client travel in accordance with Solairus Aviation procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and the company’s standards of safety, service, and integrity.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft and for conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner. Duties include reviewing the aircraft’s maintenance status
- completing the approved Aircraft Flight Manual pre-flight inspection
- checking weather, facilities, route conditions, destination airports, and alternate airports
- ensuring compliance with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- protecting the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew
- and accurately completing all trip paperwork under current procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants must have 3,000 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours PIC, 1,500 hours MEL, 500 hours MEL PIC, 500 hours turbojet time, and 250 hours instrument time.
- The position requires a type rating on the Global 6000 or a comparable aircraft, a first-class medical, availability to work on an on-call basis, and completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
- The successful candidate must maintain a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KFXE or be willing to relocate.
