About This Role
CAE is seeking experienced Synthetic Flight Instructors/Examiners for their Business Aviation Training Division based at their Burgess Hill Training Centre in West Sussex, UK. This role involves delivering high-quality simulator-based instruction on business jets including Falcon, Gulfstream, Citation, and Challenger platforms. Candidates must hold a UK or EASA license with TRI/TRE ratings for Citation II and XLS, plus minimum 1500 hours of multi-pilot flight time. Requirements
- Valid UK or EASA pilot license
- TRI (Type Rating Instructor) / TRE (Type Rating Examiner) for Citation II and XLS
- Minimum 1500 hours total multi-pilot flight time
- Strong attention to detail in training delivery and record-keeping
- Ability to tailor training sessions to diverse trainee backgrounds
- Interest in mentoring and developing aviation professionals
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, internet applications)
- High-level English language skills (reading, speaking, communication)
- Able to commit to 5-day per week onsite roster with fixed days off
- Must live within commutable distance to Burgess Hill (ideally within 1 hour / 30 miles)
- Right to live and work in the UK
