Vista America seeks an experienced Check Airman/Captain on Global Aircraft for a Flight Operations Manager role in Columbus, Ohio. This is a pilot leadership position overseeing fleet management, crew welfare, safety standards, and operations. Requires current Captain/Check Airman experience on Global aircraft, valid first class medical, and extensive international piloting background.
Requirements
- Current Check Airman/Captain on Global Aircraft (preferred)
- Valid ATPL license
- Valid first class medical certificate
- Current on Global Aircraft type
- Minimum 150 hours flight time in previous 365 days
- Minimum 30 hours flight time in previous 90 days
- No accidents, incidents or FAA enforcement actions in last 5 years
- Unrestricted world-wide travel capability
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Extensive piloting background including international operations
- Previous management experience preferred
- Full understanding of GOM, OpSpecs, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays
- Strong analytical and data evaluation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft and GV systems
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage remote teams
- Ability to work in high growth environment
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
