About This Role
Professional Aviation Training Academy Malta (Malta School of Flying) is seeking enthusiastic Flight Instructors to support their growing operations at Malta International Airport. The academy is an EASA-approved training organization with a strong reputation for training excellence and safety, offering ample flying hours in ideal weather conditions. Candidates must hold a CPL with SEP(land), ME-IR, and MEP(land) ratings, an FI certificate, and a valid Class 1 Medical. This position offers excellent career development potential, including opportunities to operate commercial passenger flights through sister company Malta Wings, with preference given to EU work-eligible candidates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide flight instruction on various piston aircraft
- Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings
- Develop and deliver training according to EASA Part FCL standards
- Assess student pilot competency and progress
- Maintain training records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations

Requirements
- EASA Part FCL Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- SEP(land) rating (Single Engine Piston)
- ME-IR rating (Multi-Engine Instrument Rating)
- MEP(land) rating (Multi-Engine Piston)
- FI certificate (Flight Instructor)
- English Proficiency Level 5 or better
- Minimum legal hours of flying experience
- Eligible to work in the EU (preferred)
