About This Role
Malta School of Flying, a certified Approved Training Organization (ATO) based at Malta International Airport, is seeking enthusiastic Flight Instructors to support its growing operation. The academy has built a strong reputation for training excellence and safety in the aviation industry. Candidates must hold a CPL with FI certificate, Class 1 Medical, multi-engine and instrument ratings, ICAO English Level 5, and minimum 1000 flying hours. This role offers excellent career development potential with opportunities to progress to commercial operations through sister company Malta Wings, operating in ideal Mediterranean weather conditions. EU work eligibility is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct flight instruction on various piston aircraft
- Instruct students towards CPL, MEP, IR, and Night Rating qualifications
- Provide ground instruction and flight training
- Support the academy's training excellence and safety standards

Requirements
- Valid EASA Part FCL Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Flight Instructor (FI) certificate
- Part MED Class 1 Medical Certificate
- SEP(land) rating
- ME-IR rating
- MEP(land) rating
- FI privilege to instruct Night Rating, CPL, MEP and IR courses (preferred)
- ICAO English Proficiency Level 5 or better
- Minimum 1000 hours of flying experience
- Eligible to work in the EU
- Qualified to instruct towards specified courses or willing to attain such qualifications
