About This Role
Flight Instructor (SEP) role at Oman Aviation Academy providing comprehensive flight training and instruction to students in single-engine aircraft, teaching flight navigation, safety procedures, and regulations, assessing student progress and preparing them for practical examinations and certifications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting the CFI by ensuring effective and on-time delivery of all flight training activities in accordance with the approved syllabi.
- Conduct flight training exercises under the direction of the CFI.
- Delivering long briefings and theoretical knowledge instruction to groups of student pilots.
- Maintaining complete and accurate training records.
- Reviewing student progress and making progress reports to the CFI.
- Developing syllabus and lesson plan material at the direction of the CFI.
- Testing of FIs and students as required.
Requirements
- Education Required: EASA Commercial Pilot License.
- ICAO Commercial Pilot License.
- Valid SEP and MEP rating.
- Valid Instrument Rating.
- Valid Flight Instructor Certificate (preferably with Night Rating privileges).
- Valid Class 1 Medical.
- ELP level 4 or higher.
- Minimum Experience Required: Minimum 300 hours Total Flight time.
- 100 hours of Instructional time.
- Proficiency in English (Spoken & Written).
