About This Role
Aeros Group, an EASA and CAA Approved Training Organisation, is seeking experienced Multi-Engine Flight Instructors to deliver VFR and IFR training on MEP aircraft at locations in Gloucester, Leeds East, and Wellesbourne. The role is ideal for CPL/MEP/IR rated instructors with recent ab-initio instructional experience looking to join a professional flight training academy. Instructors will conduct modular flight training courses, ground instruction, and simulator sessions while maintaining the highest safety standards. The position offers competitive compensation (£55,000-£75,000 OTE), comprehensive benefits including licence/medical fee coverage, loss of licence insurance, pension scheme, 28 days annual leave, and flexible rostering options. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a valid UK Class 2 Medical Certificate.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide Multi-Engine and Instrument flight, simulator and ground instruction
  • Conduct training events in accordance with approved syllabus and Academy schedule
  • Uphold flight safety in every aspect of training
  • Brief and debrief cadets for each training event
  • Complete cadet reports promptly after every training event
  • Monitor assigned cadets' progress and report performance issues
  • Foster professionalism amongst cadets
  • Maintain personal licence and rating validities
  • Retain valid Class 1 medical and report any loss of medical
  • Maintain accurate personal flying logbook
  • Comply with Operations Manual procedures
  • Attend administration, standardisation and periodic training as required
  • Support CFI in conduct of academy business
  • Monitor maintenance condition of training fleet and report defects

Requirements
  • Minimum UK CAA CPL with MEP rating
  • Instrument Rating (IR) with FCL.905 (a)(b)(e)(f)(h)(i) privileges
  • Recent experience as an MEIR Flight Instructor
  • Valid UK Class 2 Medical Certificate
  • Flight instructional experience at ab-initio level
  • Experienced in delivering VFR and/or IFR training on MEP aircraft
  • Good standard of piloting and instructional skills
  • Knowledge of UK CAA and EASA regulations
  • Eligible to live and work within the UK
  • Flexibility to adapt learning/teaching styles
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
