About This Role
Air India is seeking Flight Instructors to join their Flight Training Organization (FTO) based in Amravati, Maharashtra. The role involves supporting CFI/DCFI in delivering high-quality flight training and maintaining safety standards across the training program. Candidates must hold appropriate instructor privileges under Aircraft Rule 1937 and ensure adherence to approved syllabus and standard operating procedures. Duties & Responsibilities
- Impart flying training according to instructor privileges and approved curriculum
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight briefings for student pilots
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and performance
- Conduct flying simulator training as scheduled by Operations
- Maintain student pilot flight reports and documentation
- Assist CFI and Deputy CFI in developing discipline and personal qualities of student pilots
- Ensure adherence to standardized training practices across cohorts
- Perform FOQA analysis and debriefing of students
- Stay current with DGCA regulations, TPM revisions, and SOP updates
- Complete eGCA tasks on time
Requirements
- Flight Instructor privilege under Aircraft Rule 1937, Schedule II, Section -R
- Adherence to approved syllabus as per Training & Procedure Manual
- Valid DGCA certifications and current knowledge of DGCA regulations
- Ability to conduct both flying and simulator training
- Knowledge of FOQA analysis
- Current with Standard Operating Procedures of the FTO
- Ability to maintain student flight reports and documentation
