About This Role
Cirrus Aircraft is seeking an experienced Flight Instructor to provide industry-leading, learner-centric flight training to Cirrus customers at their premier Scottsdale, Arizona Services Center. The role involves conducting structured flight instruction on Cirrus SR and SF model aircraft, along with corporate flight operations including demonstration, repositioning, and maintenance flights. Candidates must have a minimum of 1,500 total flight hours, 250 hours PIC, SF50 type rating, and current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Commercial and Instrument ratings. Requirements
  • Three years pilot experience
  • 1,500 total flight hours minimum (ATP requirements: 1500 TT, 500 XC, 100 Night, 75 Instrument, 250 Airplane PIC)
  • 1000 dual given hours or 750 hours in Cirrus aircraft
  • SF50 Type rating required
  • ATP certificate preferred
  • Current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (Airplane Single Engine, Instrument Airplane)
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airplane Single Engine Land, Instrument Airplane)
  • Current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher
  • 150 hours turbine time or currently employed as pilot by Cirrus
  • IFR in congested airspace experience preferred
  • Mountain flying experience preferred
  • Extensive IMC experience preferred
  • International flight experience preferred
  • Night flying experience preferred
