This dynamic position involves serving meals and beverages, handling emergency situations, and traveling frequently with a flexible schedule across multiple US-based crew domiciles.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least 12 months following application
- Applicable visas for travel between United States, Canada, Mexico, and Bahamas
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Height between 5'0" to 6'0" without shoes
- Able to sit in jump seat and fasten harness
- Able to move throughout cabin aisle and operate emergency exits
- Able to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds
- Able to push and pull beverage cart weighing up to 250 pounds
- Able to lift, store, transport and reach for items
- Corrected vision not exceeding 20/40
- Normal or corrected hearing range within 15-17kHZ
- Professional, neat, and clean appearance
- No extreme hair styles or colors
- Maximum single stud nose piercing 2mm or smaller
- Maximum two piercings per ear
- Gauges must be plugged with clear or skin-toned plugs not exceeding ½"
- No facial, mouth, or tongue piercings other than nose stud
- Visible tattoos permitted with limitations; offensive tattoos must not be visible
- Comfortable using basic electronic devices and PEDs
- Willing to work varied shifts up to 16 hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to travel frequently and spend lengthy periods away from domicile
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Willing to relocate to assigned crew domicile after training completion
- Able to perform frequent walking, bending below ankle level, and reaching above shoulder level
- Must wear company-issued uniform and compliant face mask/covering
- Able to follow specific appearance guidelines throughout training and career
