Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of age by the date of first interview
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
- Able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications (lap belt 50 inches, shoulder harness 40 inches)
- Physical strength to operate emergency equipment using up to 70 pounds of force
- Capable of lifting objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Able to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to assist passengers in stowing carry-on baggage weighing up to 35 pounds
- Fluent in English, including ability to understand shouted verbal commands during emergencies
- Clear vision at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
- Able to clearly hear verbal communications including over airplane communication systems
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods during aircraft turbulence
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- Able to move about aircraft freely in confined environment
- Able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
- Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to serve and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef and pork
- Able to work with animals and around allergens and other products
- No tattoos on face, neck, or hands; tattoos in other areas must not be visible in uniform
- No multiple piercings visible while in uniform
- Valid passport with ability to travel internationally
- Willing to relocate based on company operational needs
- Travel up to 100% of the time including nights, weekends, holidays and overnights
- Willing to work varied schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights and weekends
- Polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
