Republic Airways is hiring Flight Attendants for their Indianapolis base. This is a full-time position requiring travel up to 100% of the time. Candidates must be at least 20 years old with high school diploma and 2+ years of customer service experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 20 years of age by date of first interview
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
  • Able to sit in Flight Attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification
  • Ability to operate emergency equipment using force up to 70 pounds
  • Capable of lifting objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
  • Able to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
  • Able to assist passengers with carry-on baggage up to 35 pounds
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
  • Able to see clearly at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
  • Able to clearly hear verbal communications including during emergency situations
  • Able to move about aircraft freely and effectively in confined environment
  • Fluent in English, including ability to communicate shouted verbal commands during emergencies
  • Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Able and willing to serve and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef and pork
  • Able to work with animals and around allergens and products
  • No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands while in uniform
  • Tattoos in non-prohibited areas must not be visible while in uniform
  • Must not have multiple piercings visible while in uniform
  • Professional appearance and adherence to Company uniform dress code
  • Polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
  • Able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
  • Willing to work varied schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights and weekends
  • Travel up to 100% of the time including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight
  • Willing to relocate based on Company's operational needs
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse atmosphere
  • Able to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
  • Capable of interpreting multiple instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
