Republic Airways is hiring Flight Attendants for their Boston base. This is a customer-facing safety-critical role requiring FAA compliance, emergency procedure knowledge, and the ability to handle physical demands including pushing carts over 250 pounds. Entry-level position with 2+ years customer service experience preferred.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of age by first interview date
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
- Able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications (lap belt 50 inches, shoulder harness 40 inches)
- Able to lift objects up to 35 pounds above shoulders
- Able to push and pull carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to operate emergency equipment with force up to 70 pounds
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- Clear vision at 20+ feet with corrective lenses or contacts
- Able to hear clearly verbal communications in person and over airplane communication systems
- Able to move about aircraft freely in confined environment
- Able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
- Fluent in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergencies
- Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to serve and handle peanuts, shellfish/seafood, beef, pork and work around allergens
- Able to work with animals
- No tattoos on face, neck, or hands; non-prohibited area tattoos must not be visible in uniform
- Must not have multiple piercings visible while in uniform
- Polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude

- Willing to work varied schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends
- Willing to travel up to 100% of time including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs
- Able to work in culturally diverse atmosphere
- Able to remain calm and think quickly in emergency situations
- Valid passport (implied by travel requirements)
