Republic Airways, one of North America's largest regional airlines, is hiring Flight Attendants for their USA operations. This position requires providing passenger safety and comfort with 100% travel requirements and willingness to relocate. Candidates must meet specific physical requirements and have customer service experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of age by first interview date
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Wingspan approximately 55 inches or greater
- Able to operate emergency equipment with force up to 70 pounds
- Capable of lifting objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Able to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to assist passengers with carry-on baggage up to 35 pounds
- Able to sit in Flight Attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification
- Must be able to see clearly at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
- Must be able to clearly hear verbal communications in person and over airplane communication systems
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods, sometimes with aircraft turbulence
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- Able to move about aircraft freely, effectively and quickly in confined environment
- Able to work extended duty periods on sequential days
- Fluent in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations
- Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able and willing to serve and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef and pork
- Able to work with animals and around other allergens and products
- No tattoos permitted on face, neck, or hands; tattoos in non-prohibited areas must not be visible in uniform
- Must not have multiple piercings visible while in uniform
- Professional appearance and adherence to Company uniform dress code
- Willing to work in culturally diverse atmosphere
- Willing to work varied schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights and weekends
- Travel up to 100% of the time, including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight
- Willing to relocate based on Company's operational needs
- Polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Previous customer service experience in aviation environment preferred
- Previous Flight Attendant experience preferred
