Republic Airways is hiring Flight Attendants based in Columbus, OH for their regional airline operations. This role requires strong customer service skills, ability to handle emergency procedures, and willingness to travel 100% of the time including nights, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma and 2 years of customer service experience required.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of age by date of first interview
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Wingspan approximately 55 inches or greater
- Able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modification (lap belt 50 inches, shoulder harness 40 inches)
- Physical strength to operate emergency equipment with force up to 70 pounds
- Able to lift objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Able to push and pull carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to assist passengers with baggage up to 35 pounds
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- Clear vision at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
- Able to clearly hear verbal communications including shouted commands during emergencies
- Able to move about aircraft and perform functions freely in confined environment
- Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to serve and handle peanuts, shellfish/seafood, beef, pork and other allergens
- Able to work with animals
- No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands when in uniform
- Tattoos in non-prohibited areas must not be visible while in uniform
- No multiple piercings visible while in uniform
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), including ability to understand shouted commands
- Able to work 100% travel including nights, weekends, holidays and overnights
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs
- Professional appearance and conduct adherent to company uniform dress code
