Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of age by date of first interview
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Wingspan of approximately 55 inches or greater
- Able to operate emergency equipment with force up to 70 pounds
- Capable of lifting objects above shoulders up to 35 pounds
- Able to push and pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
- Able to assist passengers in stowing carry-on baggage up to 35 pounds
- Able to sit in flight attendant jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without extender or modification
- Lap belt measurement of 50 inches or less when fastened
- Shoulder harness measurement of 40 inches or less when fastened
- Fluent in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations
- Able to see clearly at 20 feet or more with corrective lenses or contacts
- Able to clearly hear verbal communications in person and over airplane communication systems
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Able to stoop, crouch, squat, climb and kneel
- No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands while in uniform
- Tattoos in non-prohibited areas must not be visible while in uniform
- Not more than one piercing visible while in uniform
- Willing to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able and willing to serve and handle peanuts, meals containing shellfish/seafood, beef and pork
- Able to work with animals and around other allergens and products
- Willing to work varied schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights and weekends
- Willing to travel up to 100% of the time including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight
- Willing to relocate based on Company's operational needs
- Polished interpersonal skills with positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
- Able to remain calm and react quickly in emergency situations
- Capable of working in culturally diverse atmosphere and professionally interact with passengers and crew under stressful conditions
