About This Role
PHI Health, the leading air ambulance provider in the United States, is seeking a King Air First Officer (SIC) for 24-hour operations based in Kansas City, MO. This is a critical role in life-saving air medical missions, operating under CAMTS guidelines with a two-pilot crew structure. Candidates must hold an ATP certificate, First Class Medical, and minimum 2000 total hours with 1000 PIC hours on multi-engine aircraft and 500 hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft. The position offers a competitive compensation package including a sign-on bonus up to $50,000, shift bonuses, annual safety and employee bonuses, with a 7/7 roster pattern and relocation assistance available (requires 2-year commitment).
Requirements
- Valid and qualified VE7A certificate ATP Airplane Multi-engine Land
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2000 total airplane hours
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC multi-engine
- Minimum 500 hours in multi-engine turbine airplanes
- Minimum 100 night hours
- IFR rating required
- SIC or ATP certification
- CAMTS requirement compliance
- Reside within 1-hour or less commute of Kansas City base
- COVID vaccination required
- Must pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity evaluation
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Drug screening and background check required
- Weight restriction: 235 lbs or less
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pass interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
- Preference given to pilots currently assigned to KC Children's Mercy Program
