About This Role
PHI Health is seeking an experienced PC-24 Captain for their air ambulance operations based in Houston, TX. As the leading air ambulance provider in the United States, PHI Health operates over 80 bases and transports more than 22,000 patients annually with an unmatched safety record. Candidates must hold an ATP certificate, valid first-class medical, and have a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours including 1,500 PIC hours with 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine turbine aircraft. The position offers a competitive compensation package with sign-on bonuses up to $75,000, customer bonuses of $30,000, shift bonuses and incentives, annual safety bonus, and annual employee bonus. This is a 7/7 schedule in 24-hour operations providing the profound satisfaction of life-saving medical transport missions.
Requirements
- Current and valid VE7A certificate
- ATP Airplane, Multi-engine Land
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 3,000 hours total airplane time
- Minimum 1,500 hours PIC
- Minimum 500 hours PIC in multi-engine turbine airplanes
- Minimum 100 hours night flying
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pass interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
- Tuberculosis screening
- Two Varivax vaccinations or positive varicella titer
- Two MMR vaccinations or positive titers
- Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis vaccine if greater than 2 years since last booster
- Hepatitis B vaccination series and positive antibody titer
- Annual flu vaccination within last 12 months
- Body weight requirement of 235 lbs or less
- Pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity evaluation
- Able to lift 100 pounds to assist loading/unloading patients and equipment
- Pass drug screening and background check
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Must live within 1 hour commute from base
- Instrument rating required
