About This Role
Air Methods, the leader in air medical transport, is seeking an experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to operate PC-12 aircraft on IFR medical missions from North Las Vegas, Nevada. Based on the job requirements for 1000 hours PIC in category and turbine experience, this is a command-level position supporting critical patient transport and emergency medical services. Candidates must have 2500 total flight hours with 1000 PIC hours, 500 turbine hours, and appropriate FAA certifications. Requirements
- 2500 total flight hours minimum
- 1000 hours PIC in category minimum
- 500 hours of cross-country flight time (50+ hours night)
- 500 hours of turbine time
- 100 hours night flight time
- 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category
- Instrument rating for category and class of aircraft
- Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft
- Commercial single-engine land rating required for single-engine aircraft
- First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Flown in category within previous 24 months
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school
- 2-5 years related experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
- Weight not to exceed 250 pounds
- Less than 70 years old
- Valid passport for international travel
