About This Role
Air Methods is seeking a Fixed Wing Pilot to operate PC-12 aircraft for medical transport operations in Liberal, Kansas. The pilot will be responsible for safe and legal operation of the aircraft, transporting medical crews and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area. Candidates must have a minimum of 2500 total flight hours with 1000 hours PIC, including 500 hours of cross-country flight time and 500 hours of turbine time, along with an instrument rating and First or Second Class FAA Medical certificate. The position offers a $60,000 annual stipend, $15,000 sign-on bonus, off-duty housing availability, and the opportunity to participate in critical aeromedical operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2500 total flight hours
  • Minimum 1000 hours PIC in category
  • Minimum 500 hours cross-country flight time
  • Minimum 500 hours fixed-wing turbine time
  • Minimum 100 hours night flight time
  • Minimum 100 hours actual instrument conditions in category
  • Instrument rating for category and class of aircraft
  • Commercial single engine land certificate OR ATP rating
  • Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin engine operations
  • First or Second Class FAA Medical certificate
  • Must have flown in category within previous 24 months
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school
  • 2-5 years related experience
  • Weight not to exceed 250 pounds
  • Must be less than 70 years old
  • Subject to DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing
