Air Methods is seeking Fixed Wing Pilots to operate PC-12 aircraft for EMS air medical transport in Carlsbad, NM. Requires 2500 total hours with 1000 PIC in category, IFR rating, and Class 1 Medical Certificate. Excellent work-life balance with 7 days on/7 days off schedule, comprehensive benefits, $60,000 stipend plus $15,000 sign-on bonus, and housing provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC in category
- Minimum 500 hours cross-country flight time
- Minimum 100 hours night flight time
- Minimum 100 hours flight in actual instrument conditions in category
- Instrument rating for category and class of aircraft
- Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin engine operations
- Commercial single engine land license required for single engine operations
- First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate required
- ATP rating in category meets instrument rating requirement
- Flown in category within the previous 24 months
- Weight not to exceed 250 pounds
- Less than 70 years old
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school
- Two to five years related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Regular scheduled attendance required
- Subject to DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident)
- Positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals and public
